We're looking for proactive and tech-savvy experienced Office Assistant for our client.

  • Monday to Friday
  • Available to start immediately
  • National Police Check required
  • 3 month contract with the possibility of extension
  • Temp to perm opportunity
  • Attractive hourly rate of $37/hr + super
  • Melbourne CBD location

 

Great opportunity to join Australia's entertainment business and accounting services business. Our clients are looking for someone who is proactive, tech savvy and willing to learn.

Duration: 3 months with possibility to extend for right candidate.

Location: Melbourne CBD

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day support for management and billing staff
  • General receptionist duties including welcoming visitors, answering phone and ensuring a tidy area
  • Work with the Practice Manager to assist with operational reporting and maintenance of the firm
  • Develop a solid understanding of the Practice Management and internal software systems and be familiar with any other software and/or hardware used within the business
  • Complete any long term and one-off projects within the agreed timeframe
  • Provide support to other divisions e.g. Accounting and Tax team

Key Experience and Requirements

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with accurate word processing and data entry skills.
  • Sound knowledge of administrative systems and procedures, and proficiency with office technology.
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within established deadlines, and to maintain a consistent level of professionalism.
  • An ability to work effectively within a busy team environment, and also to work unsupervised.
  • Effective verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative, accurate and positive manner.
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite, Microsoft 365 and Xero highly desirable
  • Exposure to ATO portals advantageous
